G20
Major economies forum
The G20, or Group of Twenty, is an international forum of the world's largest economies—nineteen countries plus the European Union—that meets to coordinate economic policy and address global financial issues.
The G20 emerged after the 2008 financial crisis as a more inclusive alternative to the G7: G20 leaders pledged to stabilize markets.
Annual summits draw protests and heavy security.
