World Economic Forum
Swiss business gathering
The World Economic Forum is an international organization that convenes political leaders, business executives, and intellectuals annually in Davos, Switzerland.
Founded in 1971, it promotes public-private cooperation on global economic issues.
The forum has become shorthand for elite globalism, drawing both praise for facilitating dialogue and criticism as a gathering of disconnected plutocrats: The Davos crowd at the World Economic Forum.
