Friedrich Nietzsche
Friedrich Nietzsche was a nineteenth-century German philosopher whose ideas about morality, power, and meaning have influenced Western thought profoundly.
He critiqued Christianity and conventional morality, introduced concepts like the Übermensch (superman) and eternal recurrence, and declared that "God is dead." His aphoristic style and radical views made him controversial; his work was later misappropriated by Nazi ideology.
