FarmVille
Zynga crop simulator
FarmVille is a farming simulation game released by Zynga in 2009, originally played through Facebook.
Players planted crops, raised livestock, and decorated virtual farms, often pestering friends with game requests.
The name became shorthand for the era of addictive social media games: My mom spent hours on FarmVille.
The original game shut down in 2020.
