Designing your persona
Character creation is the process of designing a player's in-game persona, typically at the start of a video game or tabletop roleplaying game.
This usually involves choosing attributes like appearance, abilities, class, and backstory: I spent two hours in character creation before actually playing.
The term also applies to fiction writing, where authors develop protagonists and supporting cast.
