Galahad

Purest legendary knight

Galahad is a knight of Arthurian legend, son of Lancelot, renowned for his purity and moral perfection—the only knight worthy to achieve the Holy Grail.

The name has become a byword for an idealized, chivalrous man: He fancied himself a Galahad, rushing to her rescue.

Often used with gentle irony when the chivalry seems naive or excessive.
