demon sword

Fiend's steel edge

A demon sword is a blade in fantasy fiction that houses a malevolent spirit or draws power from dark forces.

Such weapons typically grant their wielders supernatural abilities at a cost—corrupting their souls, demanding blood sacrifice, or gradually possessing them: The demon sword whispered promises of power.

The concept appears across video games, anime, and mythology, where cursed blades carry their own will and hunger.
