Mordred

Slew his father

Mordred is a figure from Arthurian legend, the knight who betrays and mortally wounds King Arthur at the Battle of Camlann.

In most versions, he is Arthur's illegitimate son or nephew.

The name evokes treachery from within—destruction brought by someone close rather than an outside enemy: a Mordred in the ranks, playing Mordred to his mentor's Arthur.
