Divali

Hindu autumn celebration

Divali is the Hindu festival of lights, celebrated in autumn with lamps, fireworks, and family gatherings.

The five-day celebration honors the victory of light over darkness and good over evil, marked by the lighting of oil lamps called diyas.

Also spelled Diwali.

We're hosting a Divali party this year.
