DVD+Rs
Burnable optical media
DVD+Rs are recordable optical discs using the DVD+R format, a competing standard to DVD-R that emerged in the early 2000s.
The plus format offered slightly better error handling and was favored by some manufacturers, though both formats became largely interchangeable for everyday use.
Like other optical media, DVD+Rs have been displaced by streaming and flash storage.
I burned the wedding photos onto a DVD+R.
