DUIs

Intoxicated driving arrests

DUIs is the plural of DUI, an abbreviation for "driving under the influence"—operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs.

The term refers both to the offense and to charges or convictions: He has two DUIs on his record.

In some jurisdictions, DWI (driving while intoxicated) is used instead, sometimes distinguishing severity levels.
