Cyberpunk

Night City franchise

Cyberpunk is a genre of science fiction set in near-future dystopias where advanced technology—especially cybernetics and computer networks—coexists with social decay, corporate domination, and urban grit.

The aesthetic blends high tech with low life: hackers in neon-lit slums, humans with mechanical implants, megacorporations more powerful than governments.

The Matrix, Blade Runner, and William Gibson's novels defined the genre.

The term also describes the subculture and visual style it spawned.
