Carlsbad is a city name appearing in several locations, most notably a coastal city in Southern California known for its beach resorts and flower fields, and a city in southeastern New Mexico near the famous Carlsbad Caverns.

Both American cities take their name from Karlsbad (now Karlovy Vary), a Czech spa town whose German name means "Charles's bath."
