Brylcreem
Classic hair pomade
Brylcreem is a brand of men's hair pomade, popular from the 1930s through the 1960s, that gives hair a slicked-back, glossy appearance.
The name became shorthand for any greasy hair product.
A Brylcreem boy or Brylcreem type suggests a man with carefully groomed, oiled hair—sometimes implying vanity or an old-fashioned look: He had that Brylcreem shine his grandfather favored.
