Boot Hill

Gunslinger's final stop

Boot Hill is a name for cemeteries in the American Old West, especially those that buried gunfighters, outlaws, and others who "died with their boots on"—that is, violently rather than of natural causes.

The most famous is in Tombstone, Arizona.

The term evokes frontier lawlessness and has become shorthand for any rough burial ground: Keep causing trouble and you'll end up on Boot Hill.
