Body of Christ
All Christians together
Body of Christ is a Christian theological term with two main senses.
In the Eucharist, it refers to consecrated bread believed to be—or to represent—the physical body of Jesus.
More broadly, the Body of Christ is the church itself, with believers understood as members of a single spiritual organism with Christ as its head: We are all part of the Body of Christ.
