embody

Make physically manifest

Embody means to give a body to something abstract or intangible, making it concrete or visible.

A person can embody a quality like grace or courage by expressing it so fully that they seem to be its physical form: She embodies everything I admire about the profession.

Ideas, principles, or values can be embodied in documents, institutions, or works of art: The Constitution embodies the founders' vision of democracy.

To embody also means simply to include or contain: The report embodies all our findings from the past year.
