bluetooth tracker
Digital lost-and-found
A Bluetooth tracker is a small electronic device that pairs with a smartphone to help locate personal items.
You attach one to keys, luggage, or a wallet, then use an app to find the item when it goes missing: I put a Bluetooth tracker on my dog's collar.
Most work by detecting proximity via Bluetooth signal strength, though some leverage networks of other users' phones to locate items over greater distances.
