Beach Boys
California surf group
The Beach Boys are an American rock band formed in California in 1961, known for vocal harmonies and songs celebrating surfing, cars, and young romance.
Their sound defined the California myth of endless summers and carefree youth.
Later work, particularly the album *Pet Sounds*, influenced art rock and experimental pop.
My dad still listens to the Beach Boys.
