The Ramones
The Ramones were an American punk rock band formed in New York City in 1974, widely credited as pioneers of punk rock.
The four original members—Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee, and Tommy—adopted the shared surname Ramone as a unifying stage identity.
Their fast, simple, two-minute songs influenced generations of punk and alternative bands: I grew up on the Ramones.
