Dr. Dre

Dr.

Dre is the stage name of Andre Young, an American rapper, producer, and entrepreneur who shaped West Coast hip-hop.

He co-founded N.W.A., pioneered the G-funk sound with *The Chronic*, and later launched the careers of Snoop Dogg and Eminem through his Death Row and Aftermath labels.

His Beats headphones brand, sold to Apple in 2014, made him one of hip-hop's wealthiest figures.
