The Jackson 5 was an American pop group from Gary, Indiana, consisting of five brothers—Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson.
Active from the late 1960s through the 1980s, they helped define the Motown sound with hits like "I Want You Back" and "ABC." The group launched Michael Jackson's career as a solo superstar.
Later known as the Jacksons after leaving Motown.
