wild men
Feral, uncivilized people
Wild men are people living outside civilization, untamed and uncivilized.
Medieval European folklore featured wild men as hairy forest dwellers embodying nature's chaos.
The term now describes anyone behaving in an unrestrained or reckless manner: The wild men of the trading floor made fortunes and lost them.
In politics, wild men are extremists or radicals within a party.
