Obsessive Japan fan
A weaboo is a non-Japanese person obsessively devoted to Japanese culture, especially anime, manga, and video games—often to the point of fetishizing Japan or affecting Japanese speech patterns.
The term is usually disparaging, implying shallow or cringeworthy enthusiasm rather than genuine cultural appreciation: He's such a weaboo—he puts Japanese words in every sentence.
Also spelled weeaboo; often shortened to weeb, which can be either self-deprecating or affectionate among anime fans.
