water fight
Soaking summer skirmish
A water fight is a playful battle where participants spray, splash, or douse each other with water—using hoses, water balloons, squirt guns, or buckets.
Water fights are summer activities, typically among children but enjoyed by all ages: The backyard birthday party devolved into a massive water fight.
