wardrobe mistress
Theater clothing manager
A wardrobe mistress is the woman responsible for costumes in a theater, film, or television production.
She maintains, organizes, and repairs garments, ensures actors are properly dressed for each scene, and manages quick changes during performances.
The male equivalent is wardrobe master, though the role is often simply called wardrobe supervisor regardless of gender.
