vision screening
Sight test procedure
Vision screening is a brief test to detect potential eye problems or vision impairments, typically administered in schools, pediatric offices, or workplace settings.
Unlike a comprehensive eye exam, screening identifies people who need further evaluation rather than diagnosing conditions: All kindergartners undergo vision screening during the first week of school.
Common tests check visual acuity, depth perception, and color blindness.
