venogram
Blood vessel scan
A venogram is an X-ray image of veins, produced by injecting contrast dye and taking radiographic pictures as the dye flows through the venous system.
The procedure helps diagnose blood clots, blockages, or abnormalities in vein structure: The venogram revealed a deep vein thrombosis in her left leg.
