vantage-point
Place with perspective
A vantage point is a position offering a clear or advantageous view.
The term works both literally—From our vantage point on the hill, we could see the whole valley—and figuratively, describing a perspective from which something is considered: From the vantage point of history, the decision looks foolish.
Also spelled as one word or two words without hyphen.
