triplegia
Paralysis affecting three
Triplegia is paralysis affecting three limbs, typically both legs and one arm.
The condition usually results from stroke, traumatic brain injury, or cerebral palsy.
Unlike quadriplegia (four limbs) or hemiplegia (one side of the body), triplegia is relatively uncommon and often represents incomplete damage to the motor pathways.
