flaccidity
State of drooping
Flaccidity is the state of being soft, loose, and lacking firmness.
The term applies to muscle that has lost tone, tissue that droops or sags, or anything that should be taut but isn't: the flaccidity of aging skin, erectile flaccidity.
Figuratively, it describes weakness or lack of vigor: the flaccidity of his argument, moral flaccidity.
