topologies
How things connect
Topologies is the plural of topology, a term with technical meanings in mathematics and computing.
In math, topology studies properties of geometric objects that remain unchanged when stretched or bent but not torn.
In computing, a network topology describes how nodes connect to each other—whether in a ring, star, mesh, or other arrangement.
The IT team compared different network topologies before designing the new system.
