tool sharpening
Blade maintenance work
Tool sharpening is the process of restoring a cutting edge to blades, bits, and other implements that have dulled through use.
The practice applies to everything from kitchen knives and scissors to chisels, axes, and lawnmower blades.
Methods range from handheld whetstones to powered grinding wheels: I take my chainsaw in for tool sharpening twice a year.
