tide cycle
Sea's daily pulse
A tide cycle is the complete sequence of rising and falling water levels caused by gravitational forces, primarily from the moon.
Most coastlines experience two high tides and two low tides roughly every 24 hours and 50 minutes—a pattern called semidiurnal.
The tide cycle here means we can only launch the boat in the morning.
