seal of approval
Stamp of acceptance
A seal of approval is an endorsement or official sanction indicating something meets a standard.
Originally literal—a stamped mark certifying quality—it now usually refers to any authoritative blessing: The project got the CEO's seal of approval.
Often used with possessives to indicate whose endorsement matters: parental seal of approval, government seal of approval.
