thine
Archaic possessive pronoun
Thine is an archaic form that in modern English is replaced by two different words, depending on use: your and yours.
You are likely to encounter thine only in older English and places where it is preserved, such as prayers, hymns, and Bible translations.
Thine precedes nouns that begin with a vowel sound, just as an does.
The form thy is used before consonant sounds.
