you guys

Casual group address

You guys is an informal second-person plural pronoun, addressing a group of people directly: Are you guys coming to the party?

Though it contains the word guys, the phrase is widely used to address groups regardless of gender.

Some consider it inappropriate when addressing women or mixed groups, preferring alternatives like y'all or you all, but in much of American English it functions as a gender-neutral plural you.
