Tight bathing suit
Swim briefs are a style of men's swimwear that fits snugly around the hips and upper thighs, leaving most of the leg exposed.
Often called Speedos after the popular brand, they are the standard competitive swimsuit for racing and water polo because they minimize drag.
Outside athletic contexts, swim briefs are more commonly worn in Europe and Latin America than in the United States, where longer board shorts dominate casual swimming.
