chlorine-resistant

Won't degrade poolside

Chlorine-resistant describes materials, especially swimwear fabrics, that withstand prolonged exposure to chlorinated pool water without degrading, fading, or losing elasticity: chlorine-resistant swimsuits last longer for competitive swimmers.

The term also applies to microorganisms that survive standard water chlorination: Cryptosporidium is notoriously chlorine-resistant.
