Male protective undergarment
An athletic supporter is a garment worn by men to protect and support the genitals during physical activity.
It consists of an elastic waistband and leg straps connected to a pouch that holds the genitals in place.
Often called a jockstrap or simply a jock, it may include a pocket for inserting a protective cup.
Every player on the team was required to wear an athletic supporter during practice.
