swamp buggy
Wetland off-roader
A swamp buggy is a vehicle designed to travel through wetlands, swamps, and shallow water.
These vehicles typically feature large tires or tracks, elevated chassis, and powerful engines to navigate soft, muddy terrain where conventional vehicles would sink.
We took the swamp buggy out to explore the Everglades.
The term is most common in the American South, particularly Florida.
