summoners
Those who call
Summoners are people who summon—who call others to appear or assemble.
In legal contexts, a summoner issues summonses requiring attendance at court.
In fantasy games and fiction, summoners are characters who conjure creatures or spirits to fight alongside them: The summoner called forth a demon from the portal.
The term appears frequently in gaming, where summoner may designate a character class specializing in召conjuration magic.
