Conspiracy against someone

A stitch-up is a British slang term for a frame-up or conspiracy to make someone appear guilty or to predetermine an outcome unfairly: The trial was a complete stitch-up.

It can also describe any situation rigged against someone: The whole competition was a stitch-up—they'd already chosen the winner.
