spamming
Bulk message assault
Spamming is sending large volumes of unwanted messages, typically electronically.
The term originated with bulk unsolicited email but now covers any platform: spamming the group chat with memes, spamming comments on social media.
In gaming, spamming means repeatedly using the same move or action: He kept spamming the same attack.
The verb is spam; spamming is the gerund.
