brigading
Mass organized targeting
Brigading is coordinated action by a group to flood a platform with votes, comments, or reports—typically to manipulate rankings, suppress content, or harass users.
The term comes from online communities, especially Reddit, where users from one subreddit might collectively downvote posts in another: The thread got brigaded by people who disagreed with the article.
The practice violates most platform rules.
