Cream-free white drink
Skimmed milk is milk from which the cream has been removed, leaving a thinner liquid with little or no fat.
Also called skim milk.
The skimming was traditionally done by letting cream rise and lifting it off; now centrifuges do the work.
She switched to skimmed milk to cut calories.
