sign-ons
Beginning user sessions
Sign-ons are instances of logging into a computer system, account, or service.
The term covers both the act and the credentials used: The system tracks all sign-ons for security purposes.
In broadcasting, a sign-on is when a station begins its daily transmission.
Single sign-on (SSO) lets users access multiple systems with one authentication.
