segregationists
Racial separation supporters
Segregationists are people who advocate for or support racial segregation—the enforced separation of races in public facilities, schools, housing, and social life.
The term is most associated with white Americans who opposed civil rights advances in the mid-twentieth century: Segregationists blocked the schoolhouse door.
A segregationist may also be an adjective: segregationist policies, segregationist rhetoric.
