screenwrite
Author film dialogue
To screenwrite is to write a screenplay—the script for a film or television production.
The term is a back-formation from screenwriter, used when emphasizing the act of writing for the screen rather than other media: She screenplays for streaming services now.
Less common than simply saying "write screenplays."
