screening rooms
Film preview spaces
Screening rooms are private spaces designed for viewing films or video content, typically equipped with professional projection and sound systems.
Studios use them to show works in progress to executives; wealthy individuals install them in homes.
The term implies a more intimate, controlled setting than a commercial theater: The director watched the rough cut in the screening room.
